Course Description

Based on MIT Design Thinking Real- Win-Worth framework, during this course students will familiarise with this powerful process of problem solving and how to apply it to data and digital innovations. From inception through innovation, on a journey that encompasses concept development, applied creativity, prototyping, and experimentation, students will be able to develop their own data product and receive real-time feedback.

Objectives

Learn key data management and design thinking principles and how to apply these to a data and digital initiative.

Identify customer and user groups data needs (primary and latent) and how to translate these needs into service specifications

Learn how to prototype, build a service architecture, analyse the economics and present a data product

Nino Letteriello

Internationally recognised Data Management expert and advisor to various European Governments information management programmes.
Nino is current President of the Italian Data Management Association and the first Europe, Middle East and Africa Regional Coordinator (EMEA) for DAMA, United Nations Advisor and WSIS High-Level Track Facilitator, Co-Chair of the MIT CDO Symposium.

Michele Valentini

Head of FIT Academy Training Services, he takes care of the planning, customization and development of the contents of the entire Courses offer. PHD in mathematics, after having worked as a teacher he moved to the world of consulting where he faced several Data Management projects, in particular in the field of Data Quality and Data Modeling.
